Lyssa Mia Smith has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology with an expertise in trauma. A lifelong New Yorker, she lives on Long Island with her husband, their two young children, and her furry sidekick, Nessie. Her debut novel, Revelle, was featured in four book subscription boxes and translated into six additional languages for readers around the world. It was a finalist for the 2023 CYBILS award in Young Adult Speculative Fiction, which honors books that combine high literary merit with high popular appeal. Gilded in Vengeance, her sophomore novel, releases November 4th in the US and January 15th in the UK.
